Cold laser therapy is a rather new approach to soft tissue healing. This form of therapy is directed over the site of pain and provides an energy to the injured cells, which then takes up the cold laser energy. Once the cell absorbs the energy, it assumes a normal energy state and the tissue can then heal completely. This therapy works on such conditions as carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder, elbow and knee cartilage and ligament conditions, arthritic joints, and other similar conditions.
